Debbie Chandler, Esq.

Debbie Chandler will speak about the current actions of the Florida legislature, the ongoing lawsuits brought by the League of Women Voters of Florida, and the strategies and plans at LWVFL. She will also share her insights based on visits with the local leagues throughout Florida.
A lawyer by trade, Ms. Chandler’s career included 25 years as an Assistant Public Defender in the 15th Judicial Circuit of Florida (Palm Beach County). Her practice of criminal law included all divisions of court, as well as running the Intake Division and several divisions within the Circuit Court.
