Cynthia Archbold is chair of the National Popular Vote Committee for the League of Women Voters Palm Beach County and a founding member of Floridians for the National Popular Vote. She is a former award-winning broadcast television news reporter/anchor and college administrator and instructor.  She honed her writing skills earning her Master’s degree in English literature at the University of Virginia. After a career in broadcast news, she became director of Development and Public affairs at New World School of the Arts in Miami, a nationally award-winning arts conservatory partnered with the University of Florida and Miami-Dade College and Miami Dade Public Schools, where she helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for the scholarship endowment. Currently, Cynthia is working to gain support for the National Popular Vote because it is the Constitutional way to make every vote equal no matter where people live. The goal is to pass NPV legislation by the 2024 Presidential election.
