Florida Policy Institute

Florida Policy Institute is an independent, non-partisan, and non-profit organization dedicated to advancing policies and budgets that improve the economic mobility and quality of life for all Floridians.

Dr. Santis is a dynamic speaker and will clearly explain the impact the Florida budget will have on all Floridians.

Biography:
As Director of Research, Dr. Esteban Santis leads Florida Policy Institute’s research process to promote policies and budgets that expand economic mobility and strengthen quality of life for all Floridians.

At Florida Policy Institute, Dr. Santis supports the strategy and implementation of research projects, as well as provides senior expertise on state tax and budget policy analyses. His work emphasizes equity, accountability, and transparency in Florida’s fiscal management, bridging data and policy to inform actionable solutions.

Dr. Santis’s research has been published in leading journals, presented at national conferences, and featured in state and national media, including the Tampa Bay Times, the Miami Herald, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and NPR.

Directions to the Fountains Country Club:
Enter the Fountains Country Club from Lake Worth Rd, one traffic light west of Jog Rd. After the guard gate, the Club House is on your right at the large bronze and gold sign. Park at any available space.

-The gate at Melaleuca Ln and Jog Rd is for residents only. If your GPS takes you there, continue North on Jog Rd and turn left at Lake Worth Rd.

-If your GPS takes you to the Jog Rd entrance North of Lantana Rd, you can enter there, but it is easier if you continue North on Jog Rd and turn left at Lake Worth Rd. Then turn left at the 1st traffic light.



Refund Policy:
•    Refunds or account credits are available for cancellations received before the registration deadline.
•    Because registrant counts are guaranteed to the venue, no refunds are available after the registration deadline.
•    After the registration deadline, if a registrant notifies LWVPBC of their cancellation, and does not at that time have the name of a specific replacement, if there is a person on the waiting list who pays the event fee for that cancelled spot, the original registrant will receive a credit to their account.

Notice of cancellation may be sent to info@lwvpbc.org or to the event contact(s). If you don't specify the name of a replacement, LWVPBC will try to get a replacement from the waiting list.

Photographs and video will be taken at events for use on the League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County website, marketing materials, "the Voter" Newsletter, and in the press. By attending an event you consent to being photographed and video recorded, and your image and likeness being used by the League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County.
