The COVID-19 pandemic has affected everyone, but for people who are homeless, the hardships can be devastating. When Speaking Up for America Indivisible, a Palm Beach County group that works with St. George’s Center in Riviera Beach, advised us of a need for essential hygiene supplies for homeless people, our Civics Education Committee jumped at the opportunity to make a difference. Thanks to the generosity of our committee members, we were able to provide them with a large supply of toothbrushes, combs, deodorants, hand sanitizers, shampoos, soaps, and toothpaste.

If you would like to make a donation or purchase items for Stand Up for America’s homeless relief effort, contact Rebecca Cohen or Susan Foley at St. George’s Center also provides hot meals, health services and helps coordinating social services for needy people.
