The COVID-19 pandemic has affected everyone, but for people who are homeless, the hardships can be devastating. When Speaking Up for America Indivisible, a Palm Beach County group that works with St. George’s Center in Riviera Beach, advised us of a need for essential hygiene supplies for homeless people, our Civics Education Committee jumped at the opportunity to make a difference. Thanks to the generosity of our committee members, we were able to provide them with a large supply of toothbrushes, combs, deodorants, hand sanitizers, shampoos, soaps, and toothpaste.
