I, Candace Rojas, am running for Palm Beach Town Council Seat – Group 1 on March 9, 2021.

I am a proud mother of three daughters and one son. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, I am a graduate of Duquesne University and attended law school at Nova Southeastern University.

As an entrepreneur, I founded two small businesses, Coastal Concierge Home and Yacht Management and iCandy Multimedia Network.

Honored to be a 2015 honoree of the Junior League’s “Woman Volunteer of the Year,” I am an active member of civic and nonprofit organizations, including serving as an Ambassador with American Humane, and opening Starz Foundation, Inc, a 501 (c) (3) charity to assist women and children.

I attend church at Royal Poinciana Chapel and love to spend time at the beach; I am never too busy to enjoy a walk with my two rescue dogs.

I am honored by the opportunity to run for Palm Beach Town Council. My family has deep roots in this town, going back three generations.  Over a number of years, my family and I have had the privilege of sharing in the academic, cultural, and environmental growth of our community.

I was honored to be appointed to the Town of Palm Beach Landmarks Preservation Commission, where I served for 10 years and was proud to be elected as Landmarks Commission Chairman, serving in that role for 8 years.  I was recently appointed as an alternate member of ARCOM, which is our town’s Architectural Commission. I have held that seat for 10 months.

If I am elected to the Town Council, I will be committed to protecting the future of our community while continuing to help safeguard our traditions and our proud past.  I have a deep knowledge of a number of the many issues important to Palm Beach today and those we will likely face in the not-too-distant future.  My campaign has been endorsed by numerous Town residents and our elected leaders, including Mayor Gail Coniglio.
